EIGHT PASSENGERS INJURED WHEN BUS SKIDS AT JALAN TUN SAMBATHAN

This was so stupid, hopefully the authorities and Sri Indah do something on this. The bus suppose to reach its destination in few minutes but accident still occurred

KUALA LUMPUR, April 7 (Bernama) -- Eight passengers of a commercial bus
sustained minor injuries when the vehicle they were in lost control and skidded
near a traffic light at Jalan Tun Sambanthan, Brickfields, here today.
The Sri Indah bus which was on its way from Kajang to the Central Market,
was said to have lost control at about 8.10am before hitting a traffic light
post and an overhead bridge nearby.
The impact of the accident resulted in the front of the bus being smashed
and eight passengers - five women and three men suffering minor injuries.
Kuala Lumpur traffic police chief, ACP Rusli Mohd Noor when contacted by
Bernama today said police who were informed of the accident at about 8.15am,
rushed to the location to control traffic.
He said the bus driver, 54, who was not injured in the incident had given
his statement to assist investigation in the case under Section 47 of the Road
Transport Act 1987.
The eight injured passengers were given outpatient treatment at Hospital
Kuala Lumpur and Universiti Malaya Medical Centre.
